There is absolutely no obligation or fee for inquiring about MPowered's services. We understand educational institutions and corporate entities, and the processes one must undertake to hire outside consultants to provide professional services.
MPowered will work with you, if desired, to proceed with your individual processes, but we do not require an obligation or fee unless and until you approve our proposal.
MPowered's proposal to you will be a comprehensive explanation of the services we will provide along with a breakdown of the costs and deliverables. Our costs are calculated based on the complexity of the project, and may include related expenses (e.g., travel and lodging/meal expenses in keeping with the current GAO per diem rates).
There is no timeline for approving the proposal and signing a consulting agreement, but the sooner you hire us the sooner we can help you improve your business compliance programs!
Sometimes it takes a set of experienced and fresh eyes to recognize areas in need of improvement. An outside perspective can be a valuable asset for any organization. Recognizing that value is a signal that your institution is serious about providing quality programs to your students, faculty and staff.
As lawyers, we understand the law and its various interpretations. Using those skills in addition to our experience working in education and with other clients, we can assist you in making your compliance programs more effective. Not every project will be an overhaul of policies, procedures and staffing. Sometimes a visitor can simply tweak existing programs in ways someone who deals with them everyday would not think of. MPowered's goal is to make every compliance program as efficient and effective as possible within the boundaries of the law.
No. As employees of a consulting firm, MPowered staff will not represent you in their capacity as licensed attorneys, so the attorney-client privilege cannot apply. However, all MPowered staff maintain strict confidentiality rules for all of our clients. We will never discuss your company or our work with you unless approved by you.
All reports and deliverables will be turned over to you at the conclusion of the project and we do not share our personal notes regarding your project with anyone outside of MPowered Compliance Resources.
We take confidentiality seriously and understand the delicate nature of some of the information you entrust with us when we are hired. We appreciate that trust and are guided by our professional ethics in every project.
